A professional association of Slovenian cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and anaesthesiologists dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, education and the advancement of surgical treatment of heart disease.
About the society
Founded in 1995, the Slovenian Society of Cardiac Surgeons brings together specialists in the surgical treatment of heart disease and the great vessels. Our mission is to foster clinical excellence, connect colleagues, and translate the latest knowledge into everyday practice.
For over a decade we have organised scientific meetings within the series Challenges in the Treatment of Valvular Disease, addressing current topics in cardiac surgery — from valve disease to coronary and aortic surgery.
